Well as you can see motherhood is not easy. I have been carrying around my camera with pictures to download for the last month. Pitiful. So I hope everyone forgives me-
Let see how are things going? We had are first major outing, Sable, Colby, & Mother. We had a Sable day last Saturday - whatever the girlie girl wanted (at least that is what she thought) When she woke up on Saturday morning she said, Mommy, mommy we have to do the girl dance -- Wasn't sure what that was but by the 20th time we did it -- I got the picture. She got her hair done, make-up, & fingernails done. Watch out daddy Erdmier -- start cleaning that shot gun! We then went shopping, then tried to go see a movie - but that ended up being a bust. Thank goodness Princess Diaries was on regular television. After 4 hours of "Girlie Day" with a 3 & 1/2 old and a 6 yr old going on 25- motherhood took on a whole nother meaning!
And who ever invented this "free pass" thing Daddy's thing they are owed - Bull doodoo. Mother's don't get a free pass - they don't even get a shower without a 6 year old pressing her face against the glass asking where her flip flops are or 30 year olds asking where his nose clippers are? Free pass my foot -- Mom's don't go to bed without wondering if there children are safe in bed or if you need to go to the store tomorrow for more formula. Free Pass -- I hope Daddy Erdmier enjoyed his free pass -- it won't be until Colby is walking and I have a leash on Sable he gets another one!
