Rolling Ducks

Who ever thought someone could have a large stuffed duck with wheels on it to lounge on -- well Colby now does. He just lays back and lounges on the thing -- absolutely adorable.

Well-- we have made it 4 months with two youngsters in tow. We are still alive but daddy's receding hair line went back another two inches and mommy has no more fingernails. No, life is great -- we couldn't be happier.

Sable starts T-ball this fall. Well we thought it was t-ball but apparently she is too old for it and will now be playing coaches pitch. Mommy and daddy got a little nervous about the sudden "Oh my gosh my little girl is growing up -- will she get hurt, will she like it, will she throw her new temper tantrum and cross her arms and hate mommy and daddy for ever. Well, it gets worse -- it is not coaches pitch anymore but is machine pitch. So out with the barbies and pull out the clets - it is do or die time.

Colby on the other hand is pretty laid back. He has one of those doorway jumper things now. We didn't have a doorway that was low enough unless you put him in the laundry room. So daddy spent 3 hours on Saturday rigging this thing to hang down low so he could bounce from there -- he even stained it. Colby got in the swing and low and behold he passed out -- the 3 hours of waiting took all he had!

Well that is about it from the Erdmiers-- just busy busy! School starts in 3 weeks and we will have a drama queen first grader- wish us luck!
